What are Intraoral Cameras and what do they show?
Intraoral Cameras produce photographs of teeth and supporting structures, allowing patients to see problems with their teeth and gums such as broken or leaky fillings, fractured teeth, and more. This helps our patients better understand the need for the recommended treatment. Our hygienists also use the IO camera for educating patients about periodontal disease – enabling them to see areas of their mouth that are healthy, in contrast to diseased sites.
